Three Kallistan swimmers excelled in swimming competition held by PRSI (Persatuan Renang Seluruh Indonesia) Kota Batam. They were Alberto Tanaka, Sulthan Nabeel Sullivan, Dias Gumilang Arianto. The competition was held in two days from 18 to 19 August 2017.

Alberto Tanaka won the gold medal in both the 50 meter –breaststroke of boy category and the 100 meter – breaststroke of boy category of age level IV (8-10 years old). In addition, he has got the bronze medal in the 50 meter – butterfly stroke of boy category. He has another chance to gain more medals in another category; however he called off the competition for particular reasons. As the result, he brought home two gold medals and one bronze medal.

Also, Sulthan Nabeel participated in the category of age level IV (8-10 years old) in this swimming competition. Although he was a new beginner in swimming competition, it did not break his enthusiasm. He proved himself to gain two silver medals in the 50 meter- freestyle and the 100 meter – breaststroke of boy category. The last not the least, Diaz competed in the category of age level III (11-12 years old) and he has got one silver medal in the 50 meter – butterfly stroke of boy category. Diaz was expected to earn the bronze medal in the 100 meter – breaststroke of boy category but unfortunately he was behind one second left from another swimmer.

Our students’ achievement and effort in the competition lead to our satisfaction. They prove themselves as the champions and the Kallistan. Congratulations!
